Please do not join the Central Valley High School Alumni Newsletter that you may receive via e-mail, as that is not a part of the Central Valley High School Alumni Association. We have asked them not to use our name. They continue to do so but if we do not send them money, then maybe they will stop using “our” name. Also, Classmates does not help the school, and you can get the information from us at no cost to you and your money would go to help the Central Valley High School students. We ask the permission of all our alumni before we give out their information to anyone. We would love for you to join the Alumni Association as the money we raise goes to help the school, alumni, teachers, staff, and students.
The Alumni Association also has copies of several yearbooks from various years that we sell for $40.00 each plus shipping and handling. We have all the yearbooks on USB drives and CDs from 1955 through 2024. We sell CDs and USB drives for $10.00 each plus shipping and handling costs. We now have all the Class photos on USB for sale. Thank you, Jean Naylor, for getting them done for us. Please check out the school’s website for more information.
Unfortunately, there are many of our classmates, teachers and staff who have died in the last year. If you know of someone who has died that is not on the Memorial Page, please let us know. If you see someone who is on the Memorial page that is still alive let us know that, too!

The Alumni Association needs your help!!
The Central Valley High School Alumni Association needs your help. Jean Hampton (Naylor), Class of 1961 has resigned as President due to health issues. So, we need a new President, and we also need someone to take on the duties of Secretary. Our board could use some younger members to help also. Let us know if you or anyone else that you know is willing to take on the duties. If the Alumni Association continues to exist, we need to fill these two positions immediately. All help is welcome. Contact one of the Board Members if you would like to help or know someone who will.

REASONS WE NEED TO KEEP THE CENTRAL VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION GOING:
- Foremost and our most important goal is to provide scholarships to our graduating students.
- We help provide funding to all clubs, sports teams, and organizations at Central Valley High School if we have the funds to do so.
- We help provide a way for the clubs, sports teams, and organizations to hold raffles. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization that can hold raffles and games of chance. Schools cannot do this.
- Your donations and memberships are tax deductible.
- We do two newsletters per year to help you know what is going on with the school and its Alumni.
- We help with Class Reunions. We loan up to $500 to classes to help with their Reunion start-up. We also have a list of all the classes and the graduates. We try and keep up to date phone numbers, email addresses and mailing lists, too.
- We have all the yearbooks on USB as well as all the Class photos for sale. The Shasta Lake Historical Society has all the yearbooks to view if you live in the area. We have many of the newer yearbooks available for sale.
- We maintain an Alumni Memorial page on the school website.
Congratulations to Jesse Rogers, Class of 1992!
