Don Spurgeon’s Farewell to Everyone!

After 33 years of helping to found and support the Central Valley High School Alumni Association, I have found it is time for me to retire. My health has not been what it once was, so I have decided to retire. I will still try to keep involved with the Alumni Association and I pray that everyone will continue to be involved as well. I want to thank the Board for stepping up and overseeing the work that goes into this organization. God bless you all!

Please Notify Us of Any Changes in Your Mailing Address, Phone Number and E-Mail address!

Also Check Out the New Alumni Pages at the New Central Valley High School website: cvhs.gwusd.org

Please do not join the Central Valley High School Alumni Newsletter that you may receive via e-mail, as that is not a part of the Central Valley High School Alumni Association. We have asked them not to use our name. They continue to do so but if we do not send them money, then maybe they will stop using “our” name. Also, Classmates does not help the school and you can get the information from us at no cost to you. We ask the permission of all our alumni before we give out their information to anyone. We would love for you to join the Alumni Association as the money we raise goes to help the school, alumni, teachers, staff, and students.

The Alumni Association also has copies of several yearbooks from various years that we sell for $40.00 each plus shipping and handling. We have all the yearbooks on USB drives and CDs from 1955 through 2023. We sell CDs and USB drives for $10.00 each plus shipping and handling costs.

Unfortunately, there are many of our classmates, teachers and staff who have died in the last year. If you know of someone who has died that is not on the Memorial Page, please let us know. If you see someone who is on the Memorial Page who is not deceased, please let us know that, too, so we can correct the error!

Congratulations to Aaron Dunagan and Christina Montreuil, Class of 2023!

Aaron and Christina were married on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Bridge Bay Resort. Aaron was home on leave from the army. Aaron is in Germany for the next year or two and Christina will be joining him there as soon as she gets all the paperwork accomplished. All our best to the newlywed couple.
